While the Checkout page advises you to call us to check availability of out of stock items, please do not call us for items that are out of stock. We are trying to remove the misleading message with the help of our service provider :-) We repeat very few designs and do not want to keep our customers guessing and following up for out of stock items. a) We do not accept back orders,
b) We find it difficult to commit an availability date for an item that is out of stock

SHIPPING OPTIONS:

We offer the following options

USA / CANADA

1. Standard Shipping:

Shipping rates are per item. Merchandise is shipped using First Class Mail. It takes 3 to 5 days for the merchandise to reach its destination

2. Priority Shipping:

Shipping Rates are per item. Merchandise is shipped using Priority mail. It takes 2 to 3 days for the merchandise to reach its destination

3. Flat Rate Combo Shipping: BEST VALUE

Most of our clients buy multiple items. This option offers you the best value for money as the shipping cost has an upper fixed limit of $9.99 PER ORDER. Merchandise will be shipped using First Class Mail or Priority Mail depending on the most economical option for the weight of that specific order. It will therefore take upto 7 days to reach its destination

INTERNATIONAL LOCATIONS (Other than USA/Canada)

1. Standard Shipping:

Shipping rates are per item. Merchandise is shipped using First Class Mail. It takes 7 to 10 days for the merchandise to reach its destination.

2. Priority Shipping:

For Express Shipping to International locations, please contact us for a quote.

3. Flat Rate Combo Shipping: BEST VALUE

Most of our clients buy multiple items. This option offers you the best value for money as the shipping cost has an upper fixed limit of $15.99 PER ORDER. Merchandise will be shipped using First Class Mail or Priority Mail depending on the most economical option for the weight of that specific order.

NOTE: Clients are responsible for customs duty if any, for any location outside USA, that may be charged at the port of entry.

Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policies:

We understand that there would be occasions where you may want to cancel your order or return the merchandise.



CANCELLATIONS:

We have no problems refunding your payment if you cancel your order, before it has been shipped. We ship very promptly, usually within 24 hours of your placing the order. However, if the order has been canceled after it has been shipped, we will be able to refund the payment, once you return the merchandise. (Pls see Returns Policy)

RETURNS / EXCHANGES:

In our experience, some of the common reasons for returns or exchanges are as follows:

a) Size Mismatch: The sizes shown against our merchandise for Tunics / Kurtis, denote the bust size. We recommend buying a size that is at least 2 to 3 inches larger than your bust size. FOR COTTONS, we strongly recommend one size larger than your regular size. This takes care of the slight shrinkage that all cotton fabrics undergo after the first wash.

For first time customers, we strongly recommend buying one item to try out your size. Else, shipping charges for returning multiple items will add up pretty fast (see Returns/Exchanges Policy)

b) Color mismatch: Our merchandise is photographed using professional models in studio conditions. The colors / shades could therefore look slightly different in natural light. This is no different from what products look like in a department store versus what they look like when you bring it home.

Please take care of the above before ordering so that you can avoid returns.

RETURNS POLICY:

Returns are messy, both for you and us :-). However, if you wish to return for any of the above reasons, we will refund the payment as long as the following conditions are met:

a) Advance Intimation:

Please send us an advance intimation of your return at customer-service@riafashions.com.

The intimation as well as the actual return needs to be sent within 7 days of receipt of the merchandise.Please cite the reason for your return in your e-mail. It helps us find ways to avoid disappointing you in future :-)

b) Condition of Merchandise

We trust you. Therefore we believe that you will return the merchandise in pristine condition - the same way it was, when you bought it.

All items are checked for damages or defects before shipping. We have never ever received a complaint for this reason.

We do face the odd cases when the merchandise has obviously been used (perfume / body odor / laundered and other tell tale signs) or damaged. In such situations, even though we don't like to do so, we may have no option but to regret your request for a refund.

c) Shipping:

Shipping costs for returning the merchandise to us will need to be borne by you. You can therefore send it back to us by the most economical shipping option. We will not reimburse you for the shipping or customs charges that you incur

d) Amount to be refunded: If returns are due to a problem with the order such as wrong item being shipped, we will refund the entire amount.

However, if you are returning or exchanging because the size you ordered does not fit you well, we will do the following:

- For orders that were sent with the Free Shipping Promotional offer, a re-stocking fee of $ 2.00 will be deducted per item for Tunics/ Kurtis / Bangles and $ 10.00 per Salwar Suit per item being - For items that were sent with specific shipping charges such as Express / Priority / Overseas (ie. locations outside the US), the actual shipping amount in full or pro-rata basis (for partial returns) will be deducted from the original payment being refunded.

Once we initiate the refund, it takes 7 to 10 business days for the amount to be credited back to your credit / debit card. If your original source of funds was your PayPal account, then the funds are credited back to your account instantaneously.

e) No Returns on custom made items and Sarees: All items that are custom made are done with your specific instructions. They are manually checked to be sure all necessities are met. Therefore these items are not returnable. This also includes Sarees with Blouses. However you can return it if the product is damaged. A restock fee of $20.00 will charged for it.

EXCHANGES POLICY:

Exchanges are very time consuming and require multiple interactions with clients for alternate options available / not available. Therefore we have stopped Exchanges. As long as your Returns meet the criteria mentioned in the Returns policy, we will refund the applicable amount to you, so that you can place a fresh order for the items you wish to buy.
